The Vassall Centre is one of the earliest barrier free workplaces in the UK, having been extensively renovated in the last 25 years. The single storey building has been made accessible for those with a wide range of difficulties.
The building is occupied by more than 23 organisations as tenants. They are predominantly charities, social enterprises and with the ever busy Conference Centre, the building is a vibrant and very popular social hub. More than 25,000 people from all walks of life will use the Conference Centre every year. There are an average of 5 events a day.
VC Conferences acquired the building in 2013 and has embraced the atmosphere and popularity of the Vassall Centre. It maintains the ethos and continues to develop the property with on-going emphasis on a barrier free environment.
